Clinical Opportunities
Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions runs a satellite student RN program via teleconferencing for classes and onsite clinical rotations with a CMMC instructor. In addition, several
Central Maine Community College students are taking a required course towards their college degree at Franklin Memorial Hospital in the evenings.
Central Maine Community College sends radiology students to Franklin Memorial Hospital’s radiology department for clinical rotations.
SAD 9 Adult Education also collaborates with the Department of Education in offering Medical Terminology and other health care related courses including BLS CPR classes.
Foster Regional Applied Technical Center regularly uses our clinical facility for their CNA program.
Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Students (DO, MD) are also provided opportunities to work with our quality medical practices and clinical areas as part of their educational experiences. These students come from a variety of schools, such as The University of New England, Northeastern University, The University of Vermont, Maine Medical Center, and The University of Rhode Island.
