Description
Dieticians and Nutritionists plan and conduct food service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease. They may supervise activities of a department providing quantity food services, counsel individuals, or conduct nutritional research.
Educational Requirements
Dietitians and nutritionists need at least a bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition,food service systems management, or a related area. Students interested in research, advanced clinical positions, or public health may need an advanced degree.
